This
stained glass ballet artwork, titled "Swan Lake", is a
free-hanging artwork that I sold to an internet client in 2016. This
was my first
artwork depicting the ballet. I fell in love with it immediately. It
captivates me whenever I hang it in my home (a revolving gallery of my
artwork that the neighbors love). This stunning piece of ballet art is
copper-foiled glass with lead overlays (the folds in the tutu). The
shadows are done with solid black glass, which is why I chose to frame
this artwork in a black lacquered wood frame.
This photo isn't too bad; you can see the
textures of all three clear glasses making up the background, which is rare for a photo of stained glass.
Overall size is about 26 inches wide by 36 inches high, including the
wood frame which was painted black to match the use of solid black
glass in the interior.
This artwork sold over the Internet in 2009.
